An event-full year...

The last twelve months have been action-packed with events of all shapes and sizes organised with Citadel.
We concluded a series of policy-roundtables with Design Council and the V&A and supported the ground-breaking Design Economy report and ministerial launch of Healthy Places by design. We hosted policy roundtables on dementia, schools' staff wellbeing, family and addiction with royal patronage.
The girls' rights campaign by Plan International UK was launched in Parliament on Street Harassassment #ISayItsNotOK with senior politicians, Police & Crime Commissiners (PCCs), police chiefs and young women advocates. A half-day parliamentary session concluded with a House of Lords reception for the merger of Ambition with UK Youth. A full-day of activity brought 50 young people from across the 9 English regions to Westminster and Whitehall, supported by the National Youth Agency: cross-party briefings, group meetings at Party HQs, government departments, Ministers, Shadow Cabinet, select committees and No.10 at the start of Democracy Week.
A national summit was the centrepiece of Youth Work Week for NYA, organised by Citadel at the end of at the end of a 6-month cross-party inquiry we supported that included support for parliamentary hearings, regional visits and reporting.
Other events run for the voluntary sector included a celebration of Groundwork UK and Tesco 'Bags of Help' community projects, and workshops and engagement of the voluntary and community organisations in the design of victims' services for Thames Valley PCC. Meanwhile our 9th consecutive year at the annual party conferences saw Cabinet Ministers, Opposition leadership and senior politicians come together in a packed programme of events and debate including 80 young people taking part in #youthzone debates and political discussions.
